Critical Letter to Dr. Allama Tahir ul Qadri, A Mass Leader Like Anna Hazare (India)

Respected Celebrated Dr. Allama Tahir ul Qadri,
You are as a religious philosopher leader, both nationally and internationally did a great service for the stray youths and meandering faithful, no doubt. But to my great surprise, and also to everybody’s, your sudden appearance proved to be a hellish tattoo to the politicians, for reforming and cleansing the corrupt political hierarchy, entrenched decades ago in this feudal dominated society, benumbed the whole political world east & west. I welcome and appreciate your this timely fruitful appearance. It might bring about a dynamic revolution in public thought and stirred up fundamental ideology of social, political & religious leader’s mind-set. Now, there has to be a new reevaluation, a new line of thought and a new vista of the reformation, if your alarming movement is bound to be successful. Your style and initiative is alarming no doubt, though peaceful, but to some extent, it seems outlandish. The great long March, ever launched in the modern history, by the great Chinese leader Mau’tze-tung, against Kumaing Tang Army, a foreign occupant was successful in the long run. He succeeded to liberate china from the foreign yoke. Mau’tze-tung remained triumphant. I think, you tried to follow suit the great leader Mau’tze-tung. I think, the un-thinking majority of masses like desperate low salaried, un-married youths, un-employed aging persons and a lot of skepticals are the main and leading participants.
The educated business community, the main stream religious and other social NGOS seem alienated and detached from your this reformist call. It follows that the above non-participants, either, are afraid of being bombed if joined, or took your caravan as a Hoax. Yours was a new and crude experiment. It is widely, believed that you are following the course of action adopted by the Egyptian rebels to get deliverance from a totalitarian dictatorship entrenched 3 decades ago. But our political situation runs contrary to that of Egypt’s. We have an elected Parliament, elected President, constitutionally and unanimously accepted Election Commission. And above all, we have a bold and embattled Chief Justice, who yielded neither to opposition nor the ruling class. It is most commendable that your self-assumed rally / demonstration was well-orchestrated so as to attract the maximum publicity. Also your oratorical skill prevailed throughout the sit-in.
Really speaking, by launching this august and magnificent assemblage, you have become a rarity amongst the Pakistani political and religious elites and masses. My humble advice to your honour is that you should launch a political party and invite the youths and the dissidents and the splinter groups so that you may be able to consolidate these segments in near future. Time is short and the election is imminent. InshAllah, you must be able to transform the society rotten by the feudal lord’s maneuvering tactics. I am your like-minded in the sense that you endorse the policies and programmes of Altaf Hussain, Imran Khan, against the elimination of feudal system and dynastical politics.
In the end, it did strike to me abruptly, that your like-minded and identical religious associates such as Gaddi Nasheen, Pirs, Powerful Syed dynasties, Ulemma of your school of thought did not appreciate your this worldwide phenomenon. Why?
Qadri Sb.! You have become a controversial figure as to the conferment of the title, “Sheikh ul Islam”. People particularly, your religious rivals ask who ordained you this sacred and transcendent title? When your sit in was at its height both the Govt. and your side were to take the extreme step and also landed in utter oscillation, between hope and uncertainty, an implicit patch up took place. Thank God, the country was saved from ruination both politically & economically.
I am sorry to say that your revolutionary call to dislodge the corrupt parliament and oust the ruling Prime Minister and all the ruling hierarchy sounds a far off possibility and outlandish. Really that was not to be in a pragmatic sense. People believe that Mr. Zardari & you got rid of the fears of failure by conducting a patch up deal. I think both you & Mr. Zardari escaped from being dishonored and disfigured.
Like Anna Hazare, a mass leader, you have emerged amongst the political & social middle educated class, as a shooting star. You have given a new life and food for revamping of fundamental changes in the political structure of the state. In the end, I pray for your vibrant mission to transform our rotten feudal system. Into an enlightened, progressive and moderate flourishing society, based on equality, justice and economic equality and liberal equation in fundamental rights.
